You and your kids will love to explore this fun, interactive exhibit that has seven different routes where guests can complete different challenges. If you complete five of the challenges, you will become a certified Aquanaut.
This frosty gallery will introduce you to ocean mammals such as dolphins and sea otters. You can have a gander at the magnificent African penguin exhibit, where you will see the nesting areas of these adorable and brave flightless waterfowls. You can also see what life is like for the average spider crab or damsel fish.
If you’ve always wanted to try your hand at snorkeling, this exhibit will give you a sneak preview of what to expect. This gallery simulates a journey beneath the sea where you will explore the coral reef. Here you will see glass sweepers and seahorses along with eels and jellyfish. The Georgia aquarium boasts one of the largest reef exhibits in the world complete with many a colorful fish.
Sea lions are the adorable creatures that can be observed lazing on rocks and anchors in the Pacific Ocean. But if you think all they do is lie around and sun themselves all day, you would be sorely mistaken. This exhibit will teach you all about these fascinating and intelligent Californians. Two of the pups you will meet were rescued when they were stranded on a California beach during an Unusual Mortality Event.
