The Georgia Renaissance Festival, April

Each weekend in April, you can step back in time to a 16th-century England at the Renaissance Festival. Mingle with 1,000+ characters roaming the grounds in period costumes as you wander through this Renaissance village. There are activities and entertainment for the whole family: jousting contests, acrobats and jugglers, magicians, and wandering minstrels. A 32-acre Artisans’Market hosts arts and craft demonstrations, including glass-blowing and coin mining. Get your fill of giant roasted turkey legs, ale, and mead for the year at the Georgia Renaissance Festival!

Atlanta Film Festival, April

One of the longest-running film festivals in the country, the Atlanta Film Festival offers thousands of film enthusiasts a wide variety of film genres for viewing. Atlanta Dogwood Festival, April
