Have you ever wanted to sew leather? Now’s your chance to learn! Erica and Anna of Atlanta based Glad and Young Studio are here to teach you. In this 3-hour advanced beginner class, you’ll learn to sew leather on a home sewing machine using a leather needle while making a great cosmetic bag, perfect for on-the-go travel or used as a clutch for a night out on the town!

• Skills taught: Sewing with leather, tips and tricks for working with leather, tools for sewing leather, sewing boxed corners and inserting a zipper.
• Skills expected: You’ve taken one of our intro to sewing classes or have equivalent experience. You know how to thread and use a sewing machine. You’ve sewn within the last 2 years. You will not be taught to sew in this class so please be sure you already know how to sew!
• Materials needed: None, we’ve got you covered! All materials are included.
• Materials provided: Leather in a variety of colors to choose from, a 9″ zipper, a sewing machine, coordinating thread, fabric shears, pins and marking tools.
