By popular demand, we’ve added this essential class for your “me-made” professional wardrobe.
In this 2-day advanced beginner class, you’ll make the Morris Blazer from Grainline Studio: “The Morris Blazer is the perfect mix of casual and cool. It will quickly become the go-to garment to complete any outfit. With a mixture of drape and structure, bracelet length sleeves, and gentle shawl collar, it looks great dressed up or down. It works up well in fabrics with stretch, making it comfortable on top of everything else!”

Pattern and sewing tools included at class. Fabric not included. Check the pattern back for fabric yardage required for your size. Bring your pre-washed and cut out fabric to class.

NOTE: To save time and space for your fellow sewists, please cut out your pattern and fabric pieces before class. We will mail your pattern approximately two weeks before class to give you time to cut out. If you want to collect your pattern in person, just let us know in the notes at check out. We encourage you to contact the shop before class if you need help cutting out your fabric.

•  Skills Expected: You’ve taken one of our intro to sewing classes or have equivalentexperience. You have some basic garment sewing experience such as a pullover top or a-line skirt. You know how to thread and use a sewing machine. You’ve sewn within the last 2 years. You will not be taught to sew in this class so please be sure you already know how to sew!
• Materials Needed: See your required fabric yardage on the back of the pattern and bring your fabric pre-washed to class.
• Materials Provided: The Morris Blazer pattern, a sewing machine, coordinating thread, fabric shears, pins, marking tools, measuring tape and an iron.
